The client who is operating within the financial space is looking for a VP of IT who is able to manage daily operations while managing some internal projects. This candidate must be very well versed in the MAS TRM guidelines to help serve the client internally for auditing purposes. Below are some details!

• Manage daily IT operations including hardware/software maintenance, user support, and project execution
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for security and stability
• Collaborate with different departments to identify and fulfil IT-related business needs
• Oversee selection, deployment, and maintenance of IT solutions
• Manage IT budget and resources efficiently and cost-effectively
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to foster a positive work environment.
• Keep updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in roles such as IT Manager, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably within the Financial Industry
• Strong expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, end-user computing, and software applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve complex IT issues
• Experience in developing and enforcing IT security policies aligned with the Singapore Government Instruction Manual and industry standards
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills in managing IT teams
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and successful delivery of IT projects
• Effective communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must) to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders
