Technical Lead, AI (2-year contract), LLM

Your new company

A public firm is looking for an AI Tech Lead to join their team.

Your new role

  • Lead and mentor the AI solution development team, ensuring strong foundational software practices are in place.
  • Spend at least 70% of time on coding tasks, including writing code and conducting code reviews.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and services teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and support production deployments.
  • Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and collaborate on vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation.
  • Implement measures to monitor user experience and key product/service KPIs.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering or equivalent
  • Experienced with Grafana for Data Visualisation and event-driven systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and has experience working with LLM technologies.
  • Experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to both cloud (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, GCP) and on-prem environments.
  • Experience with DevOps, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in Python and Java; mobile experience is a plus.
