A global technology provider specialising in secure identity, digital security, and smart credential solutions for government and enterprise clients worldwide. They are seeking a Technical Consultant to support secure identity and security document solution projects, including national ID, ePassport, driver’s license, and other ICAO‑compliant document systems. The role involves end‑to‑end project coordination, customer engagement, technical documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, Sales, and Product teams.

Your new role

• Collect, analyse, and translate customer requirements into internal documentation for R&D and technical teams.
• Manage the full project lifecycle—from customer testing to trial production and handover for mass production.
• Support product planning by providing market insights and recommending suitable solutions.

• Maintain regular engagement with customers to follow up on ongoing projects and understand new requirements.
• Handle customer complaints, prepare findings reports, and coordinate internal teams to drive resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales to deliver technical support, including proposal development, tender documentation, and solution presentations (onsite/online).

• Ensure project compliance with ICAO/MRTD standards for secure travel and identity documents.
• Support UAT processes, work with certification teams and accredited test labs, and ensure all test requirements are met.
• Provide technical expertise in Key Management Systems and secure personalization workflows.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in national ID, driver’s license, ePassport, or security document projects, including ICAO/MRTD compliance.
• Strong understanding of Key Management Systems and security document personalization processes.
• Proficient in UAT, certification coordination, and working with accredited test labs.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
