Senior Manager, Business Development (Payments)

Your new role

As the Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM), you will play a key role in expanding the organisation’s corporate client base across Singapore and the wider APAC region. You will drive new business acquisition by identifying opportunities within sectors such as import/export, multinationals, education and NGOs, using your expertise in FX, hedging and international payments to deliver tailored solutions. You will build and manage a strong sales pipeline, engage decision-makers from start-ups to C-suite leaders and oversee the full sales cycle through to onboarding. You will actively source new leads through cold outreach, networking and industry events, using tools like Salesforce and market intelligence platforms to support your activity. As the main ambassador for the organisation’s value proposition, you will collaborate with internal specialists to ensure a seamless experience for prospective clients while consistently meeting revenue and KPI targets. What you'll need to succeed

In order for you to succeed in this position, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in FX, Payments, or related financial markets

  • Proven B2B sales background with strong consultative selling and negotiation skills

  • Familiarity with international payments, bulk payment processes and platform integrations

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs and manage a robust sales pipeline

  • Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior-level stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
