Our client is a leading development and management services provider. They are present in various industries ranging from Architecture, Engineering and even Urban Planning. They have grown very quickly in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with a senior engineer.

Your new role

• Provide technical expertise related to coastal protection and inland drainage projects.
• Evaluate and execute engineering designs for habitat restoration ideas, coastal erosion protection, ABC waters solutions and general flood protection.
• Identify new technologies, services and tools on engineering related topics.
• Prepare and deliver technical content on drainage and coastal engineering to the clients.
• Execute numerical modelling e.g. hydrology, hydrodynamic, flood or coastal modelling.
• Support team lead and project managers by mentoring engineers within the team.(applicable for Principal Engineer)
• Work closely with the team to develop solutions for coastal protection and/or flood mitigation.(applicable for Principal Engineer)

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science in Civil, Environmental, Water, Coastal with emphasis in hydrology/hydraulics, water resources or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in drainage, flood resiliency, or coastal works.
• Experience within pluvial, fluvial, and/or coastal environment.
• Experience and knowledge in hydro informatics, various 1D-2D flood modelling software, coastal modelling tools (QGIS, ArcGIS), will be an added advantage.
• Possess good technical and analytical skills.
