Our client is a reputable global engineering and technology firm. This is a newly created Senior Director, Brand Strategy role, to drive an exciting phase of growth, including major brand transformation initiatives and a milestone anniversary celebration.

Your New Role

This is a high-impact individual contributor role within a matrix organisation, partnering closely with senior leadership, corporate communications, and business units. You will play a critical role in shaping and driving the organisation’s group-wide brand strategy and positioning, translating leadership vision into a clear, cohesive roadmap that strengthens brand equity and ensures consistent expression across global business segments.

In this capacity, you will lead the development and refinement of brand architecture, positioning, and governance frameworks, aligned to a unified masterbrand strategy. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive strategic brand alignment and execution while spearheading group-level marketing initiatives, including integrated campaigns, content, and experiential activations. You will also act as a trusted advisor on product and solution branding, covering naming, positioning, and global implementation, while leveraging market intelligence and customer insights to identify opportunities for differentiation. Alongside this, you will establish and track brand performance metrics, including ROMI, and present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership. As a subject matter expert, you will play a key role in guiding brand strategy across critical transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Strong involvement in Brand strategy, spanning both in-house and agency environments, in B2B and/or B2G environments with exposure to international markets
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical or complex offerings into compelling brand narratives
  • Expertise in brand architecture, governance, and global brand implementation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership
  • Strategic mindset combined with commercial acumen and collaborative leadership approach
