Your new role
Summary of the role;

They are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D drafts and documentation, assisting senior engineers in technical assignments, and participating in the overall product design process.

Below are some of the key responsibilities for the role;

• Create and manage technical documentation, including 2D drafts and design specifications
• Assist senior engineers in research, design, and development of hardware products, including CIP, upgrades, and EOL Design, evaluate, and document mechanical and electromechanical devices, components, and systems
• Develop, test, and document designs for transport mechanisms, vacuum systems, and process stations
• Participate in design reviews and provide mechanical design inputs
• Prepare and release 3D Solid Models and Engineering drawings
• Communicate with local vendors to expedite delivery of design parts and assemblies
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate, should have;

• Proficient in Solidworks (3D and 2D design)
• Knowledge of Orcad or similar software (advantageous)
• Attention to detail and meticulous work ethic
• Experience in Machine Design (Semiconductor or Solar Equipment Design advantageous)
• Familiarity with Design Process (Feasibility Study to production realization)
• Knowledge of ECO release of Engineering quality documentation
• Experience in dynamic electromechanical system design and high vacuum design/heat transfer (advantageous)
