With a strong presence in Asia and continued growth plans, they are seeking a commercially driven leader to head their Southeast Asia sales function.
Your new role
This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, strategic market expansion, and key account development across Southeast Asia. You will lead the regional sales strategy, build a strong pipeline, and ensure successful delivery of revenue and margin targets.
What you'll need to succeed
Key Responsibilities
1) Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Southeast Asia aligned with global objectives
- Drive order intake, revenue growth, and profitability targets
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across all sales stages (targeting, engagement, conversion)
- Improve conversion rates and lead qualification through structured sales processes
2) Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within target industries
- Develop market penetration plans, including expansion through partners, agents, and distributors
- Actively pursue and close high-value, complex solution sales projects
- Strengthen presence in key growth sectors
3) Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Manage executive-level stakeholder engagement and negotiations
4) Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team
- Drive collaboration across regional and global stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between sales and project delivery teams
5) Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Oversee proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Ensure robust forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- Monitor pipeline health and project viability through structured review processes
- Prepare periodic market insights and sales reports for leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles (minimum 8+ years in global/regional capacity)
- Experience in solution-based / project sales, ideally in intralogistics, automation, or capital equipment industries
- Strong understanding of warehouse technologies (e.g. WMS/WCS) is advantageous
- Experience in key sectors such as e-commerce, retail, apparel, grocery, or general merchandise
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex sales cycles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skill
