A renowned FMCG company is looking for a S&OP Manager to balance supply with demand to optimise inventory and meet customer needs.

Your new role

As an S&OP Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our Sales and Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance overall business performance.

• Develop and maintain a robust demand forecasting process, incorporating market trends, customer insights, and historical data

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient production and distribution plans, optimising inventory levels and minimising costs

• Facilitate cross-functional S&OP meetings, driving consensus and alignment on demand, supply, and financial plans

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and customer service levels

• Identify opportunities to improve the S&OP process, driving efficiency and effectiveness

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams

What you'll need to succeed

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• At least 8 years of experience in S&OP or demand planning roles, preferably in the FMCG industry

• Strong understanding of S&OP processes and best practices

• Proven ability to develop and implement demand forecasting models

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in SAP
