A US headquarter retail manufacturing company is looking for a Regional HR Manager. This is the first HR headcount in Singapore

Your new role

As a Regional HR Manager within the Group, your responsibilities will include:

Anchoring group HR operations, ensuring the quality delivery of essential HR services such as compensation and benefits, learning and development, and performance management.

Acting as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the retail divisions at the regional level, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to support the expansion of the business.

Leading and facilitating HR transformation initiatives, which may involve establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies and working closely with Centers of Excellence (COE) functions.

Championing employee engagement and company culture initiatives, reinforcing internal communication efforts, and managing employee relations.

Analyzing trends and metrics related to HR, and establishing a data dashboard to provide integrated solutions and value-added analytics.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum bachelor degree, the Regional HR manager would require a solid understanding of retail terminologies, such as conversion rate (the percentage of customers who make a purchase) and the number of walk-ins (people entering a retail store).

In addition to understanding retail operations, key requirements for the HR manager include knowledge of various recruitment strategies and creative recruiting techniques. They should also be able to streamline the interview and onboarding process effectively.

Familiarity with compensation and benefits (C&B) policies, including special allowances and incentives, is important.

Lastly, the HR manager should be well-versed in HR policies specific to the retail industry.
