Your new role
As the Regional Medical Affairs Lead, you will provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across multiple markets for the organisation’s Neuroscience portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping regional medical strategy, supporting evidence generation, and enabling high‑quality scientific exchange across affiliates and external stakeholders.
In this position, you will partner closely with regional and local cross‑functional teams to support medical planning, data generation activities, clinical programs, educational initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring scientific accuracy, medical governance, and alignment with global direction while bringing regional insights to inform strategy.
In this role, you will drive regional medical strategy and support the development of medical plans across assigned markets while providing scientific leadership, insights, and guidance to cross‑functional partners, affiliates, and external stakeholders. You will contribute to evidence generation through clinical research, data initiatives, and scientific communications, and play an active role in clinical programs by supporting trial execution and delivering scientific training to regional teams. A key part of your responsibilities includes leading external expert engagement, representing the organisation at scientific meetings or educational events, and ensuring timely dissemination of scientific and medical insights from the region to internal teams. You will also offer medical guidance on research proposals, study methodology, and scientific review processes, while maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of the therapeutic landscape through literature and scientific forums. Additionally, you will support capability building across affiliates by providing scientific training and onboarding on Neuroscience topics.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent preferred).
- Extensive experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, medical governance, and evidence generation principles.
- In‑depth scientific expertise within Neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
- Demonstrated leadership in a regional or cross‑functional environment.
- Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with both internal and external audiences.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
