This role is with a regional property developer delivering modern, automated warehouse facilities. The organisation's focus is on large-scale industrial developments and works closely with M&E contractors, automation specialists, and operations teams to deliver high‑performance, technology‑driven assets.
Your new role
- Lead on-site M&E delivery for an automated warehouse project, with a strong interface focus on ASRS systems.
- Coordinate M&E works between the ASRS contractor, main contractor, and specialist vendors.
- Manage sequencing, integration, and installation of building services to support automation systems.
- Monitor site progress, M&E quality, safety compliance, and contractual requirements.
- Identify M&E‑related risks early and drive issue resolution to avoid delays or cost impacts.
- Chair M&E coordination meetings, inspections, and technical reviews.
- Ensure M&E deliverables meet tender specifications, design intent, and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate M&E documentation, drawings, test results, and records.
- Support M&E testing, commissioning, and handover to Facilities Management, including O&M documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Around 6–8 years of experience delivering M&E works on construction projects.
- Experience with automation‑heavy facilities, warehouses, or ASRS environments is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of M&E coordination, system integration, and site execution.
