Our client is an accomplished multidisciplinary consultancy that offers a wide range of professional services spanning architecture, engineering, and more. As a leader in the industry, they tackle complex challenges with creativity and innovation, balancing design, function, and cost. They have been going through growth mode in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with a senior mechanical engineer.

Your new role

• Collaborate with project teams to plan and design mechanical engineering solutions for building services.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, specifications, calculations, and detailed drawings for various project stages.
• Conduct design presentations and address any discrepancies or modifications.
• Review shop drawings and material/equipment submissions.
• Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and other contract administration duties.
• Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical engineering systems to ensure quality and compliance.
  
  What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Proven track record in major development projects within a consulting firm.
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering design systems software and familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of local codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Adaptability to work both independently and as part of a team.
