We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to helm the critical spare parts department. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the timely availability and efficient distribution of essential components that keep the advanced machinery running at peak performance.

Your new role

  • Orchestrate the daily activities of our spare parts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Mastermind our inventory control strategies, guaranteeing optimal stock levels and preventing disruptions.

  • Streamline the entire order fulfilment process, from initial request to final delivery and returns.

  • Forge strong partnerships with suppliers and logistics providers, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain across our regional network.

  • Analyse data to predict future needs, proactively adjusting inventory to meet evolving demands.

  • Elevate our order accuracy and speed, consistently exceeding customer expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with our Service and Sales teams, creating a unified approach to customer support excellence.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators, continuously striving for operational improvements.

  • Navigate local regulations and company policies with expertise, ensuring full compliance.

  • Champion cost-conscious initiatives, identifying and implementing efficiencies across the department.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 7 years of proven experience in spare parts operations, ideally within the machine tool or industrial equipment sectors.

  • At least 2 years of successful leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

  • A deep understanding of parts distribution, warehouse management best practices, and the importance of exceptional customer support.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational prowess.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for finding effective solutions.

  • The ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet demanding deadlines.
