This is a chemical / cleaning company seeking for a Material Planner (1 year contract) to join their dynamic team.
Location: West (Shuttle busses provided)
Work Hours; Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm (Flexi)
Your new role
- Work closely with Supply Chain various department on daily operation matters
- Review MRP and material demand to perform material planning to support production schedule
- Monitor inventory, review PO backlog and generate daily receiving lists to the warehouse.
- Plan, control, and trigger material movement via STO with 3PL.
- Ensure timely delivery of material to support the plant's operation and customer's shipment demands.
- Analyze and close monitoring of excess and obsolete inventory
- Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock requirement
- Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement.
- Work closely with sub-con on the delivery arrangements to meet our customer request.
- Ensure planning activities and procedures are in compliance with the company's ISO 14001/9001.
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
Min Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar w min 2 yrs of relevant MRP experience & SAP
