• Reporting to: Global Head of Banking & Chief Executive Officer
• Compensation: Highly competitive (indicative base salary SGD 300–400k+ with additional incentives)

Your new role

This is a founding leadership role with full country responsibility, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, build market presence, and act as the firm’s senior representative across Singapore and APAC. The successful candidate will serve as country head and senior representative (Chargé d’Affaires) for Singapore, with a mandate that spans commercial leadership, regulatory engagement, senior client coverage, and regional expansion. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced APAC leader to build and lead a platform with strong global backing.

Country & Regional Leadership

• Act as the firm’s senior representative for Singapore, accountable for local presence, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

• Serve as a senior APAC leader supporting expansion into additional regional markets as the platform scales.

• Partner closely with global leadership to align regional strategy with global priorities.

• Represent the firm with regulators, industry bodies, and senior external stakeholders.
  
  Commercial & Strategic Growth

• Drive regional growth strategy in collaboration with global banking, investment, and product leadership.

• Originate, develop, and deepen senior level client relationships across Singapore and key APAC markets.

• Provide executive oversight of business development, client engagement, and go-to-market activity.

• Act as a senior escalation point for strategic clients and partners.
  
  Organisational Build & Governance

• Establish and scale the Singapore platform, including operating model, governance, and internal processes.

• Build and lead a high performing local team over time, fostering a strong performance and risk culture.

• Ensure appropriate controls, compliance, and operational standards in line with global frameworks.

• Collaborate across global teams and time zones to deliver a consistent client experience.
  
  What you'll get in return
  
  Essential

  • 15+ years’ experience in financial services, fund services, banking, or financial infrastructure platforms.
  • Significant APAC leadership experience, with strong credibility in Singapore and across regional markets.
  • Background from a global or scaled platform (e.g. fund administration, asset servicing, technology‑enabled financial services).
  • Proven ability to operate at Board, C‑suite, and regulator level.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling businesses, platforms, or regional franchises.
    
    Highly Desirable
  • Experience from global fund services or administration firms (e.g. comparable platforms to SS&C).
  • Exposure to alternatives, private markets, or complex investment structures.
  • Prior responsibility as country head, regional head, or equivalent senior leadership role.
