A globally leading organization that specialises in commodity trading of LNG, Coal and Freight where you will play a key part in the analysis of their LNG trading business.

Your new role

• Building tools to support insights for all countries where LNG is imported. Econometrics, Powerbi, Powerbricks and (spreadsheet) modelling experience is required

• Scarping data and datawarehouse buildout

• Developing views of Building models to assist regional LNG price views including the cost of chartering. Staying on top of latest LNG shipping movements, performing competitor analysis and communicating trends

• Studying all drivers – by building the tools that impact the price of gas including alternative fuels

• Supporting strategic business decisions by communicating the impact of our analysis to traders and wider teams

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 5 years’ experience in data analysis role
• Good understanding in logistical optimisation
• Commercial thinking and ability to see opportunities in data and in trends.

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; excellent PowerbI, Excel and modelling skills using VBA and/or python
