1. Security Operations & Incident Management

• Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents and conduct post-event analysis.
• Work closely with internal teams and SOC to monitor and address threats.
• Stay updated on emerging risks and share relevant intelligence with stakeholders.
• Participate in simulations, audits, and assessments to improve readiness.

2. Security Tools & Vulnerability Management

• Manage and analyse security events using SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Cortex).
• Conduct vulnerability scans on applications, systems, and devices.

3. Governance & Compliance

• Perform regular security reviews to ensure alignment with policies and standards.
• Recommend improvements based on audit findings and risk assessments.
• Ensure systems meet secure configuration benchmarks (e.g. CIS standards).

4. Infrastructure & Endpoint Protection

• Oversee the configuration and optimisation of security tools across environments.
• Manage security across networks, systems, and endpoints.
• Conduct periodic access reviews for cloud and on-prem systems.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor IT Security Officers and foster a culture of security awareness.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams to implement controls.
• Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and cloud service providers

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT security leadership, with at least 1 year in cloud security.

Technical Expertise

• Proficient with tools like SIEM, WAF, AV, EDR, PAM, DAM. \
• Strong expertise in Incident Response.
• Strong grasp of threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Knowledge of secure network architecture, endpoint protection, and system hardening.

Certifications

• Preferred: CISSP, CISM

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with the ability to explain complex risks.
• Self-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices
