Our client with HQ in France is a manufacturing company that provides chemical and equipment solution. They are looking for HR manager to join their growing business.

Your new role

Reporting to the regional HR leader based in Shanghai, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Support current and future business needs through client groups’ development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of key talents.
• Build talent pipeline for cross-level job positions, drive talent growth system, pay attention to next generation talents and high potentials.
• Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process that drives high performance.
• Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues.
• Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved.
• Work closely with COE to ensure HR initiatives/ programmes are implemented effectively within the division.
• Ensure all HR practices; records, etc. are in full compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participate in other HR projects, programmes or activities, as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 8 years professional work in the Human Resources function with responsibilities such as HR Operations, payroll and benefits, recruiting, employee relationship and engagement
• Experience working in a matrix work environment preferred.
