A commodities firm is looking for a finance/operations executive to join their Singapore office.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Controller, you should be handling the below:

- Contract and Payment Management: Verify system entries against contracts and assist with processing payments as requested by the Operations Department.
- Audit Compliance: Ensure audit requirements are met and maintain accurate records.
- Commission Invoice Settlement: Assist with settling commission invoices from brokers and communicating payments to relevant stakeholders.
- Payment Communication: Inform owners, brokers, charterers, and internal businesses of payment status and details.
- Fund Tracking and Allocation: Track and allocate incoming funds for the Business Unit (BU).
- Monthly Reconciliation: Assist with monthly reconciliation of accounts, focusing on system integration issues.
- General Support: Provide overall support to the BU, including:
- Consolidated monthly insurance declaration
- Master data creation and updates
- Report generation and analysis (system-generated reports)

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Degree in Accountancy or Finance and ideally have some accounting experience. Candidates with an audit background are welcome to apply.
