Finance Controller

our new company A market leader in the automotive industry is looking for a Accounts Payable Finance Manager to join their fast-growing organisation. Your new role You will be managing a team in the daily AP operations. This involves ensuring payment to suppliers are done on time, and controls are set in place during invoice processing for the organisation's key entities. You will be the main person to engage in the monthly accruals and update of supplier details in the shared database. Some treasury aspects will be done such as cash flow forecasting, and liaising with banks for invoice financing. You will be driving the implementation of the firm's AP process automation as well, and the review of GST. What you'll need to succeed You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, and have at least 6 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience. Team management is a must have for the role, as well as Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and "coupa" experience for process improvement projects. Other than being having excellent communication skills, you have strong stakeholder management skills. A market leader in the automotive industry is looking for a Finance Controller to join their fast-growing organisation.

Your new role

This is a team management role, whereby you will ensure the smooth running of daily finance operations and that proper controls are in place for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, operating expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX). You will drive the month-end closing and partner with the management team in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecast and analysis. This involves overseeing the preparation of monthly profit or loss and being able to translate data into insights for the business objectives. You will ensure compliance with audit requirements, accounting standards, taxation regulations, while driving process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be a qualified accountant (CA or CPA) and have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance. Other than having at least 8 years of relevant finance controllership experience, you should come from automotive industry background. Other than having team management experience, you should have excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
