Our client is a highly regarded Singapore-listed real estate and hospitality organisation with an established international presence and a diversified portfolio spanning hospitality operations, student accommodation assets, property investment, and development.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-impact leadership role where the Financial Controller (“FC”) will be responsible for driving group-wide financial control, governance, statutory and management reporting across the organisation and its regional subsidiaries.

Leading a sizeable finance team across multiple jurisdictions and business platforms, the FC will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting, while strengthening internal controls, compliance, and financial governance frameworks across the group.

The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, supporting the Board, Audit & Risk Committee (“ARC”), and regulatory reporting requirements, while providing strategic financial stewardship to support the organisation’s growth and operational objectives.

This position will require a hands-on yet strategic finance leader with proven experience managing large teams within a complex, matrixes, and fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Degree in Accountancy and Finance, with at least 10 to 15 years of finance experience. A strong track record of managing a sizeable team. Experience in SGX is a must, and you are someone who is able to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level. The ability to handle stakeholders across all levels would be critical.
