logistics flows. With significant investments in next‑generation facilities,
automation, and integrated supply chain solutions, the organisation is
undergoing a strategic shift from asset operations to ecosystem‑led commercial growth .
Due to continued
expansion, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with a
high‑calibre individual to drive ecosystem partnerships and revenue growth.
Your new role
As a Deputy Manager / Manager, Port Ecosystem Commercial ,
you will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and
managing strategic customer relationships across the port and supply chain
ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of commercial
strategy, customer solutioning, and operational execution .
You will work
closely with cargo owners, logistics service providers, and internal
stakeholders to design, negotiate, and operationalise commercial solutions that
address end‑to‑end supply chain needs.
Key
responsibilities include:
- Identifying and pursuing
new business opportunities to drive revenue and volume growth
- Developing and managing
relationships with cargo owners, logistics providers, and ecosystem
partners
- Designing pricing
strategies and commercial proposals for Singapore‑based and regional
solutions
- Negotiating commercial
agreements and coordinating contract execution
- Translating customer
requirements into executable operating models through process mapping and
solution design
- Working cross‑functionally
with operations, legal, finance, and technology teams to implement agreed
solutions
- Acting as a key liaison
between customers and internal teams to ensure service delivery and
customer satisfaction
- Gathering market
intelligence on trade flows, customer trends, and competitive developments
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline
- 3–5 years
of relevant commercial, business development, or solution sales experience
- Proven track record of
managing customer relationships and closing commercial deals
- Experience in logistics,
supply chain, ports, terminals, contract logistics, or related industries
- Exposure to at least one
of the following sectors is highly preferred:
- Life Sciences &
Healthcare
- Industrial &
Technology
- Retail & Consumer
- Strong stakeholder
management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work across
multiple functions to operationalise commercial agreements
- Commercially driven,
proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication,
presentation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft
Office; data‑driven mindset is an advantage
- Ability to adapt and
respond effectively to changing customer and business needs
