Our Client is a Leading Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics Company
Data Analytics Engineering Lead, Python (12 month extendable/convertible contract)

Your new role

• To be accountable for overall project's technical/technology direction and management of the technical/technology implementation in a project.
• To lead specific Global Data Analytics Convergence projects on time and in budget while ensuring it meets the technology platform & requirements.
• To provide technical leadership with respect to leading-edge IT development technologies in data analytics
• Lead and manage Project team (internal or external) with responsibility for project management at the Domain Application level (Applications spanning the whole domain rather than part of the Domain)"
• To drive implementation of technically complex migrations & integration solutions and transition projects
• To provide technical input on design, development, implementation for major Data Analytics solutions

What you'll need to succeed

• Good knowledge of at least one of the functional areas: customer relationships and sales, e-com/freight forwarding/express/logistics operations, any service operations
• Data architecture, delivering end-to-end solutions before, strong focus on Python, SQL, deploying ML models, MLOPS, CICD, Kubernetes handling Big Data and optimisation of API services.
• Software development skills in one or more high level languages, primary focus on web-based technologies including server and client side languages and standards (Python, SQL, Snowflake)
• 7+ years of experience in data-intensive product development
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps
• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning Ops
• Professional Certification in Agile (preferable)
