My client is a global leader in medical packaging located in Buona Vista. A brand-new role reporting to the Customer Care Lead, they are looking for a Customer Care Executive.
Your new role
Order Intake & Review: Receive and meticulously review customer orders within 24 hours, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
Specification Champion: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise and improve customer specifications for a seamless process.
Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and escalate potential risks or issues with orders and parts to the relevant teams (manufacturing, engineering, planning, etc.) to ensure smooth execution.
Order Visibility & Transparency: Monitor order progress throughout production, proactively advising customers, sales, and operations of any significant delays. Offer solutions to minimise impact and meet customer expectations.
Pricing, Shipping & Customer Care:
Realistic Shipping Dates: Work closely with planning and manufacturing to establish realistic shipping dates.
Internal Coordination: Coordinate effectively within the team to ensure timely specification reviews and responses to customer information requests.
Process Optimisation: Participate in developing and improving goals, policies, and procedures. Make recommendations for changes and contribute to the implementation of these improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role with minimally a Diploma in Business or related
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
A problem-solving mentality and a proactive approach
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
