You will be part of a leading global ship management company headquartered in Singapore, operating a large and diverse fleet across various types, including tankers, bulk carriers, and containerships. The organisation is known for its strong focus on safety, sustainability, and digital innovation in maritime operations.
Your new role
Responsible for the full spectrum of corporate governance matters, including company formations and dissolutions, drafting board resolutions and powers of attorney, obtaining necessary approvals, handling corporate and regulatory filings, maintaining statutory registers, and managing the notarisation and legalisation of documents. Ensure timely compliance with annual regulatory requirements in each company’s jurisdiction of incorporation.
Act as a liaison with both local and international company secretaries.
Oversee the administration and upkeep of entity records using the Diligent Entities management system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation.
Support the monitoring of key performance indicators and prepare reports and updates as needed.
Perform general administrative tasks, including recordkeeping and file maintenance.
Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
What you will need to succeed
Minimum 5 years of corporate secretarial experience or background with a focus on company law and corporate governance.
Preferably ICSA qualification or holder of a recognised professional degree or appropriate tertiary qualification.
Experience and understanding of the statutory obligations of companies in Singapore and other relevant jurisdictions.
Knowledge of compliance and anti-money laundering legislation is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise multiple deadlines.
Initiative and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure.
