My client, an Asian Bank, is currently searching for a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager (Local Large Corporates) expansion headcount to join their Singapore office.
Your new role
Your new role's responsibility is to grow the loan portfolio and expand the existing customer base to grow new income streams in the large corporates segment through bilateral lending. You will need to possess knowledge and experience in providing a full range of banking services, including but not limited to corporate lending, trade finance and treasury products to prospective large corporate clients. Structure credit facilities, evaluate credit risk, prepare credit proposals to support your recommendation, and monitor credit quality to attain a profitable account portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Relationship Management in the Wholesale Banking and Commercial Lending segments
Strong HUNTING skills for onboarding new corporate clients and growing the business
Devotion to account relationship management, service differentiation and a sound appreciation of rigorous credit standards are essential attributes
Able to spearhead marketing of the bank’s lending and non-lending products and services to large corporate clients
Possess strong credit writing competency and be an active team player
Fluency in English and Mandarin to be able to liaise with Chinese stakeholders
