Your new company

Our client is an NGO and they are looking for a Community Engagement Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategies to build strong, meaningful relationships between the organization and the communities it serves. This role is responsible for driving community participation, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing the NGO’s visibility and impact through inclusive and sustainable engagement initiatives.

Your new role

• Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement plans aligned with the organization’s mission and program goals

• Identify and prioritize target communities, stakeholders, and partners

• Design initiatives that foster participation, inclusion, and trust

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, leaders, NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders

• Act as the primary liaison between the organization and community groups

• Plan and oversee community outreach programs, workshops, events, and campaigns

• Ensure programs are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and responsive to community needs

• Monitor delivery of engagement activities to ensure quality and impact

• Advocate for community needs within the organization and externally

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• 5-8 years of experience in community engagement, development work, or NGO sector

• Proven experience managing community programs and stakeholder relationships

• Strong understanding of social issues and community dynamics
