Your new role

As a Service Contracts Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for the commercial management and execution of long-term service and parts agreements supporting large-scale energy or industrial installations. The role covers the full commercial lifecycle of service contracts, including proposals, pricing, contract administration, renewals, amendments, and customer negotiations.
You will work closely with customers, service operations, engineering, and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are delivered effectively, commercial risks are managed, and revenue and margins are protected. The role also provides exposure to regional commercial initiatives and ongoing market and customer analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the commercial scope of long-term service and parts agreements
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals, pricing models, invoices, and contract documentation
  • Supporting contract renewals, amendments, and variations
  • Negotiating commercial terms and resolving disputes with customers and vendors
  • Coordinating subcontract agreements and trade documentation
  • Tracking and reporting commercial performance, revenue, and margins
  • Supporting upselling of additional services, upgrades, or extra works
  • Contributing to process improvements and service commercial governance

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in commercial, contracts, or service-related roles

  • Proven experience managing long-term service agreements or aftermarket contracts

  • Background in the energy, power generation, or heavy industrial sector is preferred

  • Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract negotiation, and pricing structures

  • Familiarity with logistics, trade administration, and incoterms

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
