Your new company
You will be joining a leading and upcoming retail company in Asia. As the business is expanding, they are seeking for a Category Manager to support the growth of the company. They are located in the East of Singapore
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing market strategies and developing plans to improve growth of the business
- Sourcing and Purchasing products internationally to fit the demand of local customers
- Preparing weekly analysis reports to Senior Management
- Efficiently manage projects by defining scope, timelines, and stakeholder coordination, with a focus on impactful results
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate timely deliveries of products
- Maintaining strong supplier relationships to improve the business
- Conducting cost negotiations, awarding of new/renewal contracts, and participating in tender activities.
- Achieving cost saving targets based on regional and global purchasing targets.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is someone who has:
- At least a degree in Retail Management or Business, or relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement and working in f&b
- Strong Purchasing and Sourcing experience
- Good team player with ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
