The AV Systems Engineer must have an excellent understanding of AV and VC Systems (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. They will be responsible for designing, configuring, commissioning and testing AV solutions for projects.
Designing, configuring, commissioning and testing integrated conference rooms and AV solutions on schedule and with the highest quality
Provide advice, guidance and subject-matter expertise to ensure that schedule, performance, and budget targets are met.
Assure each system’s physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings and complies with company policies, standards and conventions.
Maintaining an in-depth technical and business knowledge of AV industry directions and trends
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of industry standard AV components and their associated installation practices
Working with Project and Sales teams to develop and approve designs
Defining standard installation guidelines for conference room AV equipment
Training and mentoring junior AV engineering staff
5-10 years experience with AV design and deployment.
Experience working with Crestron equipment, audio DSP’s and microphone systems.
Experience designing and building meeting spaces, including acoustics, lighting, and technology.
Good time management and organisational skills (prioritisation of tasks, being able to follow up).
Experience of training and mentoring junior Engineers
Fluent English require with local language skills a plus.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) certified
