Your new role
- Take charge of selecting and onboarding insurance brokers, devising and executing business plans, marketing programs, and managing compliance and risk issues for life and general insurance products.
- Responsibilities
- Choose and oversee broker services, conducting regular evaluations.
- Formulate business plans to drive insurance products and services to meet business targets.
- Monitor, plan, and implement compliance and risk management practices to adhere to MAS regulations.
- Keep track of broker products, services, and promotions, conducting reviews to cater to different market segments.
- Develop and maintain high standards in customer communication regarding broker services and products.
- Support strategic business expansion plans, including targeting new customer segments, niche industries, and markets.
- Work with stakeholders, partners, and advertising agencies on marketing communication and campaign execution.
- Actively track and manage broker-launched insurance products and gather market intelligence.
- Coordinate with sales channels and other departments to ensure efficient sales and after-sales service delivery and maximize sales campaign effectiveness.
- Assist in the credit application process for insurance companies and aid in the development of credit products related to insurance (e.g., premium financing/refinancing).
What you'll need to succeed
Degree holder or equivalent qualification.
At least 8 years of experience in marketing and product development in the insurance industry, with broker or bancassurance exposure.
Experience managing brokers and insurance products across multiple channels.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
