Your new role

• Serves as the primary point of contact between facilities management and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Lead complex projects, including construction, renovations, and technology upgrades, from planning to delivery.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision for facilities management and engineering, aligning with organisational goals.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and innovative solutions to enhance facility performance and reduce environmental impact.
• Oversee the daily operations of all facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment and driving professional growth.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost optimisation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, implement safety protocols, and maintain emergency response plans.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring quality service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture).
• At least 12 years in facilities management and engineering, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven leadership and team management expertise.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and cost analysis skills.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage large-scale projects and facilities.
• Experience in Sustainability and de-carbonization reporting.
