Assistant Financial Controller

Be a part of a global electronics manufacturing and technology firm specialising in security, safety, and professional audio solutions. They are looking for a Finance Controller to join immediately.

Your new role
Our client is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to cover internal controls, risk management, legal entity oversight, tax, and credit management, while partnering cross-functionally on audits, customer escalations, and contract negotiations.

  • Support the Managing Director as deputy on risk and internal control frameworks.
  • Lead compliance, GCRA, and audit coordination.
  • Manage transfer pricing, tax filings (CIT, WHT, GST), and YEC reporting & Liaise with auditors; ensure IFRS & local GAAP compliance.
  • Oversee customer credit risk, order releases, and DSO performance
  • Support contract negotiations and pricing strategies in SAP and Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / SFRS(I) 15.
  • Handle local purchasing and SAP invoice processing (FI/ECM).
  • Deliver sales performance insights, POS analytics, and regulatory report

What you need
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance controlling, GL accounting, or finance business partnering within a multinational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules); familiarity with transaction codes such as FBL5N, FS10N, and cost centre reporting is advantageous
  • Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and transfer pricing principles.
  • Experience across cost centre controlling, MEC/YEC cycles, credit management, and financial reporting
