Your new role
As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will support both corporate and site‑based operations, partnering closely with Heads of Department and line managers to deliver people initiatives aligned with business needs. This is a hands‑on role with approximately 20–30% focus on HR operations, including recruitment and employee life cycle management, and the remainder dedicated to business partnering, performance management, and change initiatives.
You will work alongside senior stakeholders to roll out performance frameworks, support organisational change and transformation projects, and contribute to HR system implementations and process improvements. The role will also require regular travel to project sites, where you will engage directly with teams on the ground to understand workforce challenges and provide practical HR support.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3–6 years of HR experience, with exposure to both HR operations and HRBP support
- Hands‑on experience in recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle processes
- Working knowledge of performance management frameworks and employee relations
- Exposure to HR projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, or policy development
- Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project‑based environments will be highly advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to different sites and operate in a fast‑paced, operational setting
