This opportunity is with a data centre development organisation active across the Asia-Pacific region. The company works on large-scale, mission‑critical facilities supporting both hyperscale and enterprise clients. You’ll join a regional team involved in site evaluation, capacity planning, design management, and project delivery for multiple data centre developments.

Your new role

• Lead the development and delivery of data centre projects across several APAC markets.
• Oversee feasibility assessments, including capacity reviews and technical due diligence for potential sites.
• Guide local consultants and design partners to ensure project designs align with technical standards, customer requirements, and operational objectives.
• Support the development of modular and containerised solutions for scalable deployment.
• Translate customer design standards into project‑specific Basis of Design documentation.
• Review consultant scopes, assess proposals, and manage appointed design teams.
• Provide input on construction budgets and coordinate with development teams on commercial planning.
• Monitor the performance of contractors and consultants during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Work closely with regional investment, development, and construction teams to ensure consistent delivery across markets.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering data centre projects, including modular or prefabricated solutions.
• Strong background in the design and construction of mission‑critical facilities.
• Understanding of safety in design and construction requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with construction, site coordination, and commissioning activities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Clear communication skills and confidence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel across the region when required.
