Your new role
As an HR Manager, you will oversee two critical HR functions: employee learning and development, and compensation and benefits. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will guide the HR Administrator, partner with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with both statutory requirements and headquarters’ policies.
Key responsibilities include:
Training & Development
Provide guidance to the HR Administrator on training and development activities.
Oversee employee training needs to enhance skills and career growth in line with business objectives.
Conduct training needs analysis using competency models and recommend suitable programs.
Act as an internal consultant to design and implement learning and development solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and headquarters’ requirements (e.g., MOM, RBA).
Benchmark compensation practices against industry peers to maintain competitiveness.
Oversee annual merit increment and appraisal processes, ensuring timely execution.
Propose competitive packages for promotions and salary adjustments.
Manage bonus planning and oversee payouts in line with guidelines and budgets.
Drive and participate in annual HR budgeting exercises.
Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting compensation and benefits.
Develop and maintain HR procedures and documentation for C&B processes.
Liaise with HRIS and HRMC, and drive continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
Degree in HR Management or related field.
Minimum 3 years of managerial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, C&B analysis, and training functions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Meticulous, flexible, and open‑minded with a positive attitude.
Hands‑on approach with the ability to engage and support teams effectively.
