Your new role
- Promote company products and provide technical and commercial support to customers, including architects, M&E consultants, developers, and contractors.
- Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through multiple engagement channels.
- Deliver excellent service to potential and existing customers to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing programs and achieve sales goals.
- Gather market intelligence to support sales planning and product improvement initiatives.
- Participate in company marketing activities and events.
- Ensure all tender and proposal submissions, including costing, comply with internal guidelines (E-GIS).
- Work closely with Service Operations and Service Sales teams to manage service portfolios.
- Prepare sales costing sheets, proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Conduct site surveys with field engineers when necessary and review all requisitions for modernization, replacement, and marine services.
- Review maintenance agreements and ensure timely billing and payment follow-up.
- Prepare status reports to update internal departments on billing, customer information, contract terms, and special requirements.
- Allocate resources to ensure timely submission of repair/spare parts quotations and modernization proposals.
- Ensure timely approval of work orders and billing for completed projects.
- Submit and follow up on quotations and proposals with customers.
- Coordinate with Service Operations or subcontractors to execute works and prepare work schedules.
- Monitor work orders to ensure timely completion and progress claims for modernization projects.
- Contribute to strategic planning and future developments to achieve organizational goals.
- Generate sales and marketing reports for management as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 6 years in the elevator industry, preferably in new equipment sales and field work.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or related fields.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and ambition.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High integrity with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
