Genetics Advisor – Oncology

Transform cancer care as a Genetics Advisor—lead genomic innovation and personalised medicine.
Your new company
Step into a one-of-a-kind role that blends clinical genetics with medical affairs to revolutionise cancer care through innovative diagnostics and personalised medicine. In this fast-growing startup environment, you will provide expert counselling for hereditary cancer risk while shaping medical strategy, driving education, and leading evidence-generation initiatives in genomic innovation. Partnering with diverse teams from clinical specialists to commercial leaders, you will play a pivotal role in expanding advanced genomic services and redefining cancer diagnostics across Singapore and the region.

Your new role
In this dynamic role, you will combine clinical genetics expertise with medical affairs leadership to transform cancer care through advanced diagnostics and personalised medicine. You will guide patients through pre- and post-test genetic counselling, assess hereditary cancer risk using family histories and risk models, interpret complex genetic results, and collaborate with clinical specialists to shape care plans. Beyond patient-facing work, you will drive scientific engagement with key opinion leaders, deliver education on cutting-edge tools like MRD, MCED, and therapy selection, and contribute to evidence generation through real-world data and research initiatives. Working cross-functionally with clinical, commercial, and product teams, you’ll influence strategy, represent the organisation at major conferences, and help expand genomic services across Singapore and the region.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong academic foundation, ideally a Master’s in Genetic Counselling or an advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in oncology, genetics, or molecular biology. You bring a few years of hands-on experience in clinical genetics or medical affairs within oncology or diagnostics, coupled with deep knowledge of Next-Gen sequencing, liquid biopsy, minimal residual disease, and multi-cancer early detection technologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll engage healthcare professionals and collaborate across diverse teams. Comfort navigating both APAC and global healthcare landscapes, combined with analytical thinking, empathy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, will set you apart in this impactful role.

What you'll get in return
Join a fast-growing startup where your expertise will directly shape the future of cancer diagnostics and personalised medicine. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge genomic technologies, collaborate with passionate multidisciplinary teams, and engage with leading healthcare professionals across APAC and beyond. Expect a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment that values innovation, agility, and proactive thinking, along with global exposure, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in advancing cancer care.
