Our start-up client is hiring a Regional Medical Science Liaison to lead medical strategy for advanced cancer diagnostics and targeted therapies. In this dynamic startup role, you will forge strong scientific relationships with oncologists and pathologists, while partnering with commercial teams to accelerate evidence generation and clinical programs. Your established network with oncology specialists will be a key advantage in driving engagement and impact. They value candidates with hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics or oncology, as this background empowers you to influence strategy, shape innovation, and deliver results beyond conventional industry roles.

Your new role
You will be at the forefront of advancing cancer diagnostics and treatment by building strong scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across oncology and pathology. You will deliver impactful clinical and scientific education on our innovative portfolio, lead regional engagement initiatives, and contribute to evidence generation through real-world data and investigator-led research. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Medical, Clinical, Commercial, and Product teams to shape strategy, gather actionable insights, and represent the company at major scientific conferences.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a self-driven, adaptable professional ready to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and help shape the future of cancer care. You will bring an advanced degree (MD, PhD) in oncology, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field (Registered Pharmacist), along with a few years of experience in Medical Affairs or a scientific/clinical role in oncology or diagnostics. This role demands solid interpersonal and communication skills to engage healthcare professionals, present complex data, and collaborate seamlessly across scientific and commercial teams.
