Your new role

This is a rare opportunity to lead a credit risk team for non-retail portfolio at scale. You’ll be at the helm of a high-impact team, guiding independent credit evaluations and approvals, while exercising delegated authority across complex transactions. Your role will span thought leadership, process transformation, and strategic oversight, including shaping underwriting standards and portfolio metrics. You’ll work closely with business units to balance client needs with sound risk management, represent the organisation in key regulatory and industry forums. Beyond technical leadership, you’ll also play a pivotal role in talent acquisition and development, ensuring your team remains future-ready and resilient.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be able to demonstrate relevant core credit experience, as well as:

• 15+ years of experience in credit with proven leadership in banking environments

• Having prior approving authority experience

• Deep expertise in corporate and commercial credit including structuring, underwriting and derivative products

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance in credit risk

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive strategic outcomes
