My client, a financial services provider (NBFI), is currently looking for a Senior Relationship Manager (Team Lead) to join their Singapore office (in the East).
Your new role
Your new role encompasses client acquisition, client account management, and oversight of ancillary sales-related matters, with a particular focus on property-backed loans and SME financing. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that the sales function operates effectively and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Provide leadership, direction, and management to the sales team to achieve set sales targets and business goals
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for property-backed loans and SME financing products
- Oversee the acquisition of new clients while ensuring high standards of client servicing and account management
- Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide management with accurate forecasts
- Supervise and manage ancillary sales matters, including documentation, compliance, and coordination with relevant internal departments
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture within the team
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth
- Collaborate with senior management on business development initiatives and process improvements
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 3 yearsโ relevant experience in sales within financial services, with specific exposure to property-backed loans and/or SME lending
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a sales team
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of financial products, credit processes, and lending practices
- Prepared to travel to the East as the office is based there
