Your new role
As the Country Head of Compliance, you will lead the Singapore compliance function overseeing all regulatory obligations tied to the company’s existing licence and spearheading preparations for its Digital Payment Token (DPT) licence. You will act as the primary liaison to the regulators such as MAS in terms of managing inspections, audits and thematic reviews. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and maintaining robust compliance frameworks while working closely with the Head of FCC on AML/CFT matters. You’ll also support product and business teams to embed compliance into new initiatives from the ground up, as well as serve as the final decision-maker for high-risk compliance escalations. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across senior management and the Board.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be able to demonstrate relevant previous core compliance experience, as well as:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field. Professional compliance certifications by CAMS and/or ICA would be an added advantage
8–12 years of compliance experience in the Financial Services, Payments, Fintech or similar industries
Proven experience with MAS regulatory supervision and policy implementation as well as having good relationship with regulators
Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and Payment Services Act (PSA)
Experience in digital assets or cryptocurrency compliance is a plus
