Our client is a pioneering multinational company specialising in advanced microscopy and imaging solutions, seeking a Senior Sales & Product Specialist with end-to-end experience in sales strategy and execution, costing and tender management, quoting and pricing expertise.

Your new role
You will lead sales and application efforts within a dynamic medical device environment. This role involves achieving sales targets through strategic territory management, optimising product and customer mix, and cultivating key accounts. You will maintain accurate customer records, submit timely reports, and leverage CRM tools to drive performance. The position also includes managing distribution channels — from appointing and training partners to aligning market activities and executing pricing strategies. A strong grasp of market trends in capital equipment is essential, along with the ability to identify growth.
Opportunities and maintain a disciplined sales funnel. You will provide technical product support through impactful presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training, while collaborating on turnkey projects and distributor-led market development. Additionally, you will oversee demo stock logistics to ensure optimal coverage and cost control in support of sales objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary degree in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or service roles within the surgical or medical device industry, with a focus on key account management
  • Proven track record in strategic sales, particularly value-based selling in targeted healthcare markets
  • Deep understanding of medical products, industry trends, and best practices across the healthcare technology landscape
  • Proficient in CRM platforms with strong data analytics capabilities aligned to the customer buying journey
  • Solid knowledge of regional distribution channels and experience managing partner networks
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong drive to exceed sales targets and execute growth strategies
  • Skilled in market analysis, business presentations, and digital tools; strong computer literacy
