A European bank offering wholesale banking across 10 markets, seeking for a Finance Business Partner (6 months contract) – Financial Market.

Location: Tanjong Pagar
Work hours: Mondays to Fridays, office hours (Hybrid arrangement)
Role: 6 months contract
Salary: approx. up to $7,500 per month

Your new role
As part of the Management Reporting and Advice team, you will support the regional financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, provide financial analytical support and work closely with various stakeholders across the in-scope functions (mainly in Financial Markets).

You will support the forecasting process as well as for monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis and reporting. In addition, you will participate in Finance and business projects to improve results and processes.

Financial Planning: you will contribute to the forecasting and budgeting process of Financial Markets business. This involves preparing reports, data extraction and obtaining inputs from business, analysing and challenging the projections.

Performance management: you will support reporting on the financial performance of the Financial Markets business (eg, Actuals vs Target) and monitor CRWAs trends.

Expense Management: Analyse expenses for WB APAC with insightful analysis on actuals vs budget variance, and ability to forecast expenses with comprehensive knowledge of expenses to be incurred

Advice: you are a strategic business partner who independently identifies areas for improvement, prepares analysis and presents the outcomes to stakeholders.

Strategic projects: You will actively participate on Finance innovation projects with the goal to standardize and streamline processes, and improve the quality of management information distributed across Asia.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience;
  • Experience working in teams, with strong knowledge of FP&A processes;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a cross-functional team and influence senior leaders.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills with proven success in influencing business decisions.
  • Strong team player, self-starter and motivator, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel. PowerBI and Tableau working knowledge would be advantageous
