Our local public healthcare organisation is looking for an Assistant. Director, Performance & Rewards.

Your new role

As a key team member of the Group HR Centre of Excellence (CoE), Performance and Rewards (P&R) team, the Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in driving the planning, development, review, and implementation of compensation review exercises and initiatives for non-clinicians’ job groups (Nurses, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals, Ancillary and Administrative). This role involves strategic advisory, stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence in executing compensation policy reviews and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Formulating and executing compensation frameworks, policies, and annual salary increments and bonuses
- Representing the organisation in Ministry-led workgroups and project teams to contribute to national-level compensation initiatives
- Supporting union negotiations and collective agreement reviews
- Ensuring compliance with legal legislation, organisational needs, and industry best practices
- Conducting market benchmarking and salary surveys to inform compensation decisions
- Leading manpower budgeting and providing regular updates to Group Finance
- Partnering with HR Technology to implement and configure the compensation module in SuccessFactors
- Supervising and developing direct reports and managing key stakeholders across HR and Finance.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to drive compensation initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational values and strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a large organisation.
· A relevant professional certification (e.g. Global Remuneration Professional) is an advantage.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data using Intermediate Excel skills
· Strong stakeholder engagement in large complex organisations
· Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in SuccessFactors Compensation Module is an advantage
