Your new role
This role sits within the Global Legal, Risk & Compliance division and will support the organization’s expansion across South East Asia. You will be focusing on ensuring compliance with all legislative and financial requirements, engaging on a regular basis with local regulatory authorities (MAS in particular). You will play an active role in managing AML/CTF/KYC obligations whilst supporting the operations team for compliance queries and issues, as well as implementing a global learning and development program. This is an autonomous role and will suit someone who is self-motivated and can manage tasks and priorities accordingly.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in compliance roles within financial services or asset management
- Proven track record in a regulated asset management firm and holder of license from MAS
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks across the APAC region, including MAS and ASIC regulations and broader corporate governance standards
- Experience managing relationships with regulators and leading compliance initiatives
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to resolving business needs
